Hello,Alexander This is Lisa of Netronix. Thanks for your recommendation to our device EB100 .EB100 is our entry level products and EB300 for both 6" & 9.7" E-paper Panel with WinCE platform which could support WiFi, Touchscreen & Bluetooth & SD3G will be coming soon probably by end June for 6" and end of Sept. for 9.7" . With those function users could select their wireless connection they prefer. Very friendly for users. Even you're in a small island for a vaction, still you could apply SD3G to connect internet to enjoy your life. Futhermore, with touchscreen function it will make users feel more friendly. We believed that users could whiled away the whole free time reading ebook. Will share you release schedule as soon as possible. |

Nice to know you Lisa
Hi Lisa,
I think all of us at Mobileread have a lot of questions about the WinCE 9.7 inch e-paper display that your company is launching. Could you provide us with your email? thanks |

So, there will be 3 devices.
2x6" devices 1 just a reader and another with a full set of features. 1x9.7" with full set of features. correct? |

The 300 also includes a second USB port and Bluetooth. Anyway, the things we know so far for both units and the company are now up on the wiki. Dale |

Hi Lisa, I have a question for you, does your 9.7 inch ebook device have Mobipocket Reader and/ or FBReader?

FBReader does not run on WinCE, but uBook does and is often recommended. Will uBook run on the EB300?
Will any "commercial" Reader Software (e.g. MobiPocket, eReader, MicroSoft LIT) run on the EB300? |

I'd be very interested in the Linux-based EB100 if its reasonably priced and if its an open device (sdk available, etc).

I have added the EB-300 to the wiki's E-book Reader Matrix.
Things we don't know include its weight and processor type. The battery is very large (2100 mAh), but perhaps this is a lesson learned from the iLiad. 512MB (4Gb) Flash memory, is also a lot. I find the possibility of SD3G (see post #46 above) interesting too. All these connectivity options, without mention of a web browser and without (yet) an on-line e-book partner. Last edited by wallcraft; 03-16-2008 at 11:22 PM. Reason: 4Gb, not 4GB, Flash |

The matrix has usually included not yet released products, although at present only the Readius and EB-300 are in that category.
Thanks for catching 4Gb, I have updated the EB-300 wiki entries to 512MB. |
