FBReader OSX Port

Stanislav Gobunov has FBReader built for Intel Mac (Mac OS X 10.4 or later) here. There is a thread on FBReader's Google Group about this and earlier OSX port attempts.

Those with a Nokia 770 or N800 or an iLiad will already be familiar with FBReader, which now runs on Linux, Windows and Mac desktop systems. It supports many e-book formats (but no DRM), including limited support for the new ePub format (TOC not yet supported in ePub, and CSS and tables not supported in any format). If you are new to FBReader note that it is highly customizable, so if you don't like its default behavior - change it. There isn't much documentation but see Visual Tour of FBReader.

Since the Stanza e-book reader for Mac released as a beta today, I wonder if anyone has got FBReader for Mac working. If so, how does it compare to Stanza?

Great news! Port of latest version 0.8.17 released. No installation package, no need of external libraries now. Standart Mac OS X application. PowerPC support added.

Ports requires Mac OS X 10.5+, Intel or PowerPC processor.

You may still want to install TrollTech's Qt library, for development purprose for example In case you already have Qt library installed, you may download stripped version of aplication without builtin Qt library.

Port is here.

v0.8.17 crashes on MacOSX 10.5.6 without further notice.

Any hints?
