Decaffeinated Tea with milk. Just what I need to relax after my fender bender. Fender bender with a concrete bollard not another car or person thank goodness.

It's evening and so I'm seeing if the bottle of red wine I opened before going on holiday is still drinkable or not...

I have a friend that thinks opened wine is like fish and guests; after three days, it's time to toss out.

Mug o' tea #1.
Sun is out, humidity is low, and temps in the 70s. But the weatherman says not to get used to it. Bummer. Have a second cup. |

Shanah halcha, shanah ba'ah
ani kapai arimah; shanah tovah lecha, Aba, shanah tovah lach, Ima, shanah tovah, shana tovah! Shanah tovah ledod gibor asher al hamishmeret ulechol noter, ba'ir, bak'far, birkat "chazek" nimseret shanah tovah, shanah tovah! ( A year went, a year is coming I raise my hands; a good year to you, Dad, a good year to you, Mom, a good year, a good year! A good year to uncle-hero who is on guard duty and to each guard, in the city or village a "be strong" blessing is passed to them a good year, a good year! ) ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OAdF8jZEBM ) Shana Tova (Happy New Year) to all those who are celebrating the year 5773 today. Apples and honey to you all. I have a mug of new English Breakfast tea to start the new year here, although one of the best things about living in Thailand is that I get to celebrate 4 different New Years! The locals will set off fireworks for all of them too, even Rosh Hashanna. They treat all the New Year festivities like St. Patrick's Day, when everyone is Irish! One doesn't need to be a MOT to party! Happy New Year, everyone! Stitchawl |

Genmaicha in my cup.
It is amazing how going to bed a bit earlier helps my mood. But I really like reading, and playing games, and talking with my husband. Ah well, such is life. |

The shortening daylight hours are improving my sleep duration significantly. I really notice the change at this time of the year, with the days getting noticeably shorter.
Starting out with Peet's Anniversary Breakfast Blend. |

First mug of tea.
My sleep patterns have always been ... eclectic. But, lately, I have been trying to get on a more regular (and diurnal) schedule. It's slow going. |
