Shana Tova (Happy New Year) to all those who are celebrating the year 5773 today. Apples and honey to you all. I have a mug of new English Breakfast tea to start the new year here, although one of the best things about living in Thailand is that I get to celebrate 4 different New Years! The locals will set off fireworks for all of them too, even Rosh Hashanna. They treat all the New Year festivities like St. Patrick's Day, when everyone is Irish! One doesn't need to be a MOT to party! Happy New Year, everyone!

It is amazing how going to bed a bit earlier helps my mood. But I really like reading, and playing games, and talking with my husband. Ah well, such is life.

The shortening daylight hours are improving my sleep duration significantly. I really notice the change at this time of the year, with the days getting noticeably shorter.

Starting out with Peet's Anniversary Breakfast Blend.

My sleep patterns have always been ... eclectic. But, lately, I have been trying to get on a more regular (and diurnal) schedule. It's slow going.
