Firmware Update Unable to update DX - removed ufhack

I am unable to update my Kindle DX to latest firmware. I had UFHack 0.1 so I removed it and removed Jailbreak. But still cannot upgrade.
As far as I remember, I also tried usbnetworking-0.06 and kindle2_screen_saver_hack_0.4 on it. But I don't know how to verify if these are installed. And do they hinder upgrades?
I also tried resetting.
Current firmware is 2.1 on Kindle DX B004

The ss hack is probably the one preventing you from updating successfully. You'll have to uninstall it, using the uninstall bin from your specific ss hack.

The uninstall with ss hack does not work; upgrade your kindle remains shaded even with it (Update_kindle2_restore_default_screen_savers.bin) in root directory. I tried installing kindle_dx_screensaver-0.1 and it installed, then I uninstall it. Still I cannot update.

A greyed "Update your Kindle" links means you're trying to run an update file that's not targeted at your specific Kindle model. Which means you're probably trying to run an uninstaller from a different ss hack than the one you installed in the first place.
