Help installing calibre-0.6.39-i686.tar.bz2
I need to install calibre on a secure RHEL 3.5 system with no Internet connectivity and no GUI. I can untar calibre-0.6.39-i686.tar.bz2 but I don't know what to do next. Reading the documentation, searching the calibre website and the Internet does not turn up any clues. I assume this file is the binary install. I must be missing the obvious.

that's all you really need to do. The executables are in the untarred folder, try running them.

the segfault can only be ignored if it happens at the end of the process. In your case it's happening at the start.
