Exclamation Kobo Touch Comic Book Font [Need Help]

Hey guys, I recently bought a Kobo Touch on mother's day cause it was on sale, and it's pretty cool so far except for comic books. I recently downloaded the walking dead series for my Kobo Touch. But the font on it is barely readable, but the original font (While on my comp) Is just crystal clear great. So to be exact the quality of the comic book decreases. I've tried using calibre to convert it to various format but it seems to stay at a unreadable format. Can anyone please help me? THX.

Is this in CBR or CBZ format? If so, remember that these are just a zipped collection of graphical images so no guarantee at all that they will be legible on any eReaders screen.

As to changing the fonts in them, there are no changeable fonts in a CBR / CBZ file.

Best you can do is convert to PDF and then set it to landscape mode. It's extremely awkward to scroll it, but 6" isn't going to be good for comics, anyways, unless you get like a Retina-level LCD display...

There have been two comments or suggestions. Neither of which you have commented on. If neither help or don't apply for some reason, you need to say so. At the least, we need to know what format your comics are in so that we can sensibly discuss what is happening. An example of the comic would be even better so that we can try for ourselves and maybe suggest something based on that experience.

Remember; that if the original comic had small writing in it the PDF will contain the exact same... nothing you do will improve the legibility of the text in a comic.

Yeah, but the Kobo resizes to the screen size (600x800), which is a nasty limit. Converting to PDF and switching to landscape mode (though it's nasty to navigate that way, in my experience) will mean the page goes 800 pixels wide instead of 600, which will make it easier to read (though you have less vertical space, which of course is another problem).

In short, it's just not worth the effort to try and read comics on a 6" eInk device (especially touchscreen). I've tried several times before.
