Despite the challenges it is still a breakthrough device in my mind. Great display and form factor and the battery life seems to be coming along if early 2.6 reports hold true. It really is pretty much what I've been looking for in a device. I just hope they sort the business process side of things before it becomes a sales inhibitor for them.

If there is one thing I've learned its that the kernel coders are the place you go for repair techs, not the web designers.

What really and completely sucks here is that their quality circle is broken down. When you release a new product you pay close attention to the first few months of returns. These returns show you faults in the design and testing of your product. You need to immediately act upon this information and push it into the production cycle.

For example, their screening/testing of production units is missing a fair number of similar problems. They need to figure out how to test for it and retest their existing stocks of production units before shipping them out and letting us test them for them.
