TomeRaider is coming into the Public Domain - source to be released

Does anyone want to consider adding TomeRaider to the plethora of apps that run under OI? Anyone? Anyone?

Need to set up a discussion forum - maybe with Google

Said forum to discuss how to maintain (and expand) TomeRaider now that Matt wants to release the source code into PD. Any ideas?

Have copy of the Win version of TomeRaider source code.

I'll be uploading it to a page at my personal website so anyone who wants to help maintain and upgrade it can get a copy. I'll also be moving a copy to SourceForge in the next few days.

-----

Bear with me on this. I've completely forgotten my login to adding pages to the website at my primary ISP. Duh! I haven't modified that site since 2002!!!

Java, Win32, Palm. Unlikely to be easy to be ported to POSIX/X11 environment.

I can understand that if it had been simply Palm, but isn't there a Java compiler for Linux and Posix/X11??? Of course, being more of a Win person, I haven't kept up on this.

There is but, bleh, it's slooow. And you won't get Java acceleration on ARM unless you pay a lot of money to company behind ARM architecture, and even then the results can not be released as free software.
