Community developed E-book?

Just wondering what your thoughts would be on a Mobile read community generated E-book would be like? I think that it could be neat, having ten or fifteen different people writing a book, now I don't mean that over 100,000 mobile readers will write it just a few? ( I don't really mean myself I'm not really the greatest writer )

I suck as a writer but I think it would be an interesting project, I can't write but I would be happy to proof and format

I'd love to write, not sure I'd be any good at it though

I can create the ebooks from the final proofed and formatted copy from mortis.
