Over Clocking Option
I know the Edge's processor is 1.2Ghz but it's been slowed to 800Mhz. I figure this was to preserve the battery. Sony did this for the PSP but through time kept upping the speed with firmware updates.
I would like to see something in the settings that will allow us to up the CPU speed. Of course, with the caveat that it'll drain the batteries faster but if it's plugged in that should be no problem. |

Restricting clock speed MAY have also been done for heat dissapation. There is no vent or fan in the edge. I wouldn't want to turn my cpu into molten silicon.
(But, I'm happy to let you experiment first. ; ) |

You bring up a good point but I'll just keep blowing on the Edge while it's over clocked. That should help.

What we need is a modded eDge with some flame decals and watercooling.
