Touch - Sort By

Hi:

In K2i when you sort by collections, it also had the ability to sort by most recent, so the most recently accessed collections would appear first. This does not seem to be the behavior in the Touch, it seems to retain sorting alphabetically. Does anyone know if there is a way to sort by collections but then by most recent??

The Touch software has a quirk. If you sort by collection, the collections are grouped first but they are alphabetical. With current firmware I know of no way to group them by last opened.

Perhaps this is as a result of customer feedback. Many people don't like the fact that collections are not organised alphabetically on the K3, and have wished that they were.

There is an option in the kindle plugin but that doesn't work with the Touch but I think that option forces it to be alphabetical.

Bummer because I like having the most recent show up on top, keeps me from having to scroll through pages to find the collection I want. And I am not eager to turn on most recent sorting because that will generate over 100 pages.

Amazon seems to have a difficult time with the concept of giving the user choice on features. You should be able to pick the manner of sorting and you should be able to decide if you want the pragraph bar at the bottom. It doesn't have to be an absolute choice situation.
