Warranty of warranty?

Suppose I bought a JBL 6 months ago. It breaks now. I send it in for replacement. Replacement arrives. 10 months later, the replacement breaks. Do I still have warranty or the warranty only applies to the original?

Usually the warranty remaining is whatever the original purchase is (according to your invoice/receipt).

What if it's a couple days from the end of the warranty period of the original purchase and they decide to send me a piece of crap as replacement?
