No, the Kobo Original did not have WiFi and had a different, slower processor. This one is the device right before the Kobo Touch.

I gave one of my old ones loaded with books to a relative and she loves it. I sometimes still use one in stead of my KT and it is like a good old friend. Missing some KT features good and bad but still fine for reading epub books but not for PDF books.

I went to check this out. Kobo requires you to buy $40.00 worth of something before you get free shipping. I wonder if ebooks apply to the total or if it is just hardware.

Just got this email.

"We want to extend our apologies for the delayed delivery of your Kobo WiFi device.
