I talked to the store owner this weekend, and he is in hopes to start over sometime this fall in a new location. The new store won't be the same as the old one, though. He feels that the antiquarian model just doesn't work any more. I can kind of see that. It was great that he had interesting old stuff on the shelves, but he was basically paying the cost of retail floor space to warehouse it.
