Hi,

Thank you for sending us those files. We have forwarded them to our development team. They are aware of the issue and looking into providing a resolution. This fix would be included in a future update to the software. Unfortunately, we don't have an ETA for the resolution of this. Our apologies for the inconvenience of this.

Sincerely,

The Kobo Team

The way I read it is there is not actually a promise to release a fix. All they say is a catch all "if a fix IS released it will be in a future version of the firmware".

I'm reading it as: they will fix it, but can't tell you which release it will be in.

Well... depends on what they mean by 'would'.
