MS Office 2013
I am attempting to add stuff to a daily devotional. The original book did not have the index in the print book. I have added the index using MS Office. But when I add the page numbers it does not reflect the same as the print. The print book numbering starts on January 1 when I add page numbers it starts with the first few pages which are blank. How can I change this. I am stumped on this. I do not want to change all the index pages since it has 10+ topics under each alphabetical letter. I have tried going in and changing each page number but that did not work. I tried adding a page number in the header section but that just put the same number on each page.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help. Merry Christmas |

Good luck.
Go to the first page you want to insert page numbers and then click insert page numbers. Or there may be an advanced feature. Been too many years since I played with office. Or can you just delete the blank pages. |
