thanks for the post but there is no need to zip these files. IMP is a supported upload format and it makes it easier on those that download to just get an IMP file.

In the posting guidelines, zip is recommended. And HarryT has later clarified that the zipping is so that it will not be blocked by firewalls and such.

These days even zip is blocked by some firewalls. I am not aware of anything that blocks IMP. You can, of course, do what you wish.

I no longer post ZIP files myself; doesn't seem to cause any issues. You may consider that advice "superseded" .
