Hello from Montana
Hello everybody, I have been reading the forum for awhile. Right now I use the Palm TX for most of my ebook reading and mobile reference works. I have come close to buying a Cybook or an iLiad. Still trying to justify the expense. The Palm is excellent for the mobile reference library and for reading at night in bed without bothering my wife. A dedicated eReader would be nice when exercising and for reading the classics. I wouldn't mind the expense if I used it a lot. Somewhat like buying exercise equipment: even if it is a tad expensive, it is worth sacrificing to buy if you will just use it. Any additional counsel?

Welcome to the Forum. I just got a Sony 5065 and really like it. Have done a lot of reading on my iPaq but the 505 is far superior.
I decided on the 505 in part because of cost and got it at 40% off as it was a window display at the local Sony store. Another way I justified the cost was the low power use. The 505 is always available whereas my iPaq is a power hog and if I'm not near a recharger, can't use it much. Let us know what you decide. |
