Hiding your cloud books
Just got the Paperwhite, and staring me right in the face are my cloud books. On my K3, they were a little more hidden.
Well, that's great for some people, but I don't need my kids (who are using the Kindle to read the Rapidfire 39 Clues Books) to see some of the stuff I have purchased from Amazon. Any way to hide the cloud list or filter it to remove stuff from it? |

Only by unregistering your Kindle, or registering it to a different account.

I found it. Parental controls to the rescue.

How do parental controls help, as a matter of interest?

[off topic] when protection is enabled deregistering the Kindle w/o knowing the password became impossible (at least for paperwhite) hence this could be a way to protect Kindle in case of a thieving, lost.

I went into Parental controls and just turned off Cloud. Now, the Cloud option is greyed out. Exactly what I was looking for.

My recommendation for apastuszak is to have two different libraries one for him and one for the kids. The kids stay in their library, which dad would visit occasionally to ensure that the kids are buying appropriate books and dad keeps his novels locked away under lock and key for himself.
