Galaxy S3 not recognized
The Galaxy S3 used to work with the MTP plugin, but now has stopped being recognized by calibre.

According to that debug output it is still being recognized, see the line

I can't actually interact with my device though. The "Send to device" options are all greyed out and disabled, my "device view" toolbar options don't appear, Reading List can't sync, etc. So if it recognizes my device, it isn't actually doing anything.
I did check preferences > Ignored Devices and there's nothing there. |

Look at the bottom right corner, is the job reading data from your device still running? If so, wait for it to complete.

reboot your computer, and make sure your galaxy is the only device plugged in.

I rebooted and unplugged everything else, but it still doesn't run any jobs or show up in any way.

Then I'm out of ideas. As per that debug output your device is being detected.
