I don't backup my Audibles but I do back up my ebooks. It would just be too time to backup all the Audibles and quality loss is not worth it.

I do them one at a time while I'm doing other stuff on my computer. Sometimes I can get three or four done in a day, often it's just one or two, and just as often I forget and don't do any. I have maybe 300 or so audiobooks, and it's taken me about 4 months to get most of them. I've got about 40 more to go.

I'm so, so spoiled by Calibre + Alf that every time I try to figure out how to convert the Audible files my head starts spinning and I give up.
