Hi ! This is Rupesh from Mumbai, India.
Hi, !
I am interested in buying an e-reader (preferably large, 9 inches and above). I would like to hear from you people which one should I buy? Should I buy now or wait ? And also what is the best way to get one as I am in India and here there are no good choices available locally or they are exorbitant! Thank you. Please take care ! Best Regards, Rupesh |

Forgot to mention, I am a programmer and I want read programing books on e-reader. So I will prefer one that supports chm and has e-ink screen.
Thank you. |

Good to have your company, Rupesh. You'd do well to check out the 'which one should I buy?' forum here before making your choice. There's a whole bunch of devices out there now, but much depends on what you want to read on your machine and where in the world you're located. Good luck and best wishes. Neil

Hello, and welcome to MR! Currently the only e-ink readers with available with 9.7 inch screens are the Kindle DX and the Pocketbook 902 and 903. Kindle doesn't handle CHM, as for Pocketbook I don't know if it can. Calibre (free software, I will give you the link below) may be able to convert CHM to another format, one that the Kindle can handle if you decide to get that. The Kindle can be shipped to India (I just check on the Amazon web site). I'm not sure about the Pocketbook. Hopefully someone else will be able to help you some more. Good luck!
