Orizon battery life
Have had a Bookeen orizon for about a month . I have that found that no way does the battery life last 1000 Pages. I have found that I will have to charge it up with in about five hundred pages is that because I leave it in sleep mode when im not reading it . Should I power it of when I finish reading.

Do you let discharge completely or do you just trust the battery meter? Mine behaves rather weirdly: when it goes down to 10-20% and I'm thinking it will die in a moment, I turn it off for the night and next day it's 50% again... Also, try disabling the accelerometer, it should last a bit longer.
Anyway, no battery lasts as long as advertised. |

Just trust the meter . I know none of them lasts as long as they claim. The best is the Kindle with battery life.

Try using it until it doesn't respond anymore, doing this a couple of times is supposed to calibrate the battery meter. Just don't leave the battery empty for a long time.

The metter on the Gen3, Opus and Orizon is only indicative, and can't be trusted.
