OIP & jffs2 and Windows

Hello,

When I plug in BeBook with OIP, will it show up on Windows as external hard-drive? Mainly I'm curious about the jffs2 file system if its going to work on windows.

Regards, a total Linux newbie

No, you'll need to use SSH to access the device from your computer. See http://openinkpot.org/wiki/SSHAccess for details.

No version of OpenInkpot directly exposes the internal file system to an external PC the way that Hanlin(BeBook) does. I guess that makes it doubly so with jffs2, since Windows would need an installable file system to handle it. If you want a way to access the OpenInkpot internal storage that is just about as easy, take a look at this thread where we have already discussed WinSCP.
