Me want that looks absolutely fab and +1 re crich's comments.

It looks just very neat and simple which is great. Ideally I'd like a smaller flexbook type that I could just stick in a handbag, like I currently do with a paper notebook.

This is what is now possible:
> No ghosting
> Less than 1ms response time (no matter how fast you move the pen, it will look like ink is transferring from nib to display)
> High contrast ratio (between 15 and 18 - paper is usually 15)
> Vivid colour support
> Flexible static/refreshing screen - parts of the screen update, whilst others remain stable, thus saving battery
> Ability to display video
Forget about features. Give me a device with the above properties, has at least 6" screen, and does a passable job of displaying epubs and PDFs and I'll pay you up to $500 (6") or $1000 (9"+) for it. My guess is no such thing can be produced today or in near future.

How is it coming along?
Sony is releasing their DPT-S1 in about a week. No, it doesn't have close to all the features you presented, but it does have a fair amount of features that makes it interesting enough for a lot of potential buyers. The one glaring omission they have made, in my most humble opinion, is lack of Bluetooth support for external peripherals.
