Fire (5th gen) ignored by Calibre
I was wondering why my brand spanking new 7" Fire (5th generation) was being ignored by Calibre on Win 8.1. Following the FAQ, I opened Preferences / Ignored Devices and there it was. I did not Calibre to ignore the device, and unchecking the box did nothing. In fact, I immediately reopened Preferences only to find that it was checked as a device to be ignored.
One of the primary reasons I bought this Kindle, other than the fact that my earlier 7" Fire HDX was stolen, was to add books to it from my private collection to it. Is this a known problem? Mikey |
