But Hanvon E920 has a combination of a capacitive (usable with fingers) and inductive (stylus based) touch screen. Capacitive display implies an additional transparent layer infront of the Display which increase reflections and reduces the contrast.
In a few weeks when I am back in China I will have to see if I can check out one --- if only to see how the screen looks.

That should be no problem, if I can find a display unit.

Haha, I was just absent-mindedly skimming over the pics in the first link, and I came to this one and my first reaction was "Holy shit, the thing has a Swiss Army knife built into its base!!"

Pack it with a bunch of survival guides and you might have found a new market!

Wow, that looks amazing. Thanks so much for the reviews and information Raice.

Any more news about when t might be coming to the US or Europe? I'd love to get one but not sure how I'd get it from China.

Does this device have any internal memory or it relies only on the memory card?

Hanvon's "Dual-Touch" combines its capacitive touch and emr touch ina single layer BEHIND the display and works without any additional glass layer in front of the display

I was about to say "Hey this presentation page in english is using the e920, maybe its a hint for the western commercialisation?" And then I went to the international hanvon website to see both the e920 (greyscale) and the c920 (color) featured.

http://www.hanvon.com/en/products/eb...ucts-C920.html
http://www.hanvon.com/en/products/eb...ucts-E920.html

Funny how they "forget" to indicate the resolution of the c920

Are they on the international market now? I can't find it.

This is so great to know!!! That was the only reason I stopped considering E920. Now it's back in the game!

Did you manage to find an E920?

I really think this should be a great devise, the problem is - not many reviews and it's not sold outside China
