Improved Read it Later Recipe!
Hi,
I've created a feed for Calibre to parse your Read it Later items and download them into an ePub. I did this because of my frustrations with the built-in RIL recipe. It only uses the HTML so it only grabs the first ten items. What I'd like is to load up all 100+ of my list so I can have a huge cache of items to read wherever I go. <I should say I'm not a 'real' developer first of all, so apologies if this method is a little duct-taped together. But it's the best I could do with the skillset I have and am hoping people will find it useful.> If you want to use the feed go to the Yahoo Pipe I created here: http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.in...deb193656308e9 And enter your RIL username and choose "run pipe". This will generate an RSS feed of the text of your articles. Then just add a custom recipe to Calibre using this feed. Voila! Hope the very small niche of people who have the same requirement as me find this useful. Tom |
