I think it might be six for me, since I re-read the series from the start before I read the new book, and I think I've read it through again one or two times after "We Few".

I'm halfway through my first read of March to the Sea and I am enjoying it so far.

As a side note, I'm pretty sure the animal on the cover of the first book didn't appear until the second. The first book was all the "elephant like" beasts and in the second book they introduce the one that looks like a bipedal dinosaur. It threw me for a loop at first because the creature on the front of book 1 is definitely not how i pictured the "flar-ta".

There's been a bit of discussion about this on the Baen Bar, and as others have said, that book currently showing on Amazon is likely the omni-ization of the earlier ones. Which is fine, any excuse to re-read this series is good enough for me. Really one of my all time favourite series of pure MilSF. I'm really looking forward to the new book in the series, whenever it gets here.

This is an omnibus edition of the earlier books probably the first two: March Up Country and March to the Sea.

She said that Mr Ringo has started working on the new book, so my guess most likely two years out.

It is official as per Toni Weisskopf publisher of Baen Books this is an omnibus edition of the first two books.
