SD card in two 650s

I have two PRS 650s. If I (using Calibre) load books on an SD card, can I then take that card and put it in another 650 and have it work.

Or do I need to do each 650 individually.

I've never done it with two 650s, but I bought my 650 when I was on holiday and just took the SD card out of my 600 and popped it into the new 650. It worked perfectly. I would say that it will work just fine.

It's only like reading a usb stick on different computers I would say.

I'm curious, do the collections remain intact if you move the SD card to the other reader?

Mine did on Prs-600. I believe there is a seperate calibre database and probably a seperate Sony one on the SD card itself.

If you loaded the card with Calibre and used tags, which is what forms the auto collections, then it should retain the collections from one reader to another.

You should have no problem swapping SD cards (as long as we are talking about DRM free stuff)
