I see lot of signature with referral links for dropbox and various cloud services.

Am I the only one being annoyed by this ?? Feels like ads to me...

You can turn off signatures in your Control Panel.

Yeah, I've seen them too .... but I've trained myself over the years to just 'blot out' that which I don't want to see/read. So I can read a newspaper and not see ads for example.

What's more annoying for me is people adding info into their post about their blog. Some members seem particularly keen to entice MR members to their blog. Yuck!

Do you mean blog links in their signature? Because I can't say I've seen them in actual posts... well, Nate sometimes does, but he tends to be pretty relevant.
