Need help with tables

Does anyone know if the Kindle will support basic tables, nothing fancy, just a few rows with three columns?

If it does not, how do you handle designing books that contain tables? Any advise from people that have created ebooks would be appreciated.

See About the good usage of Tables at MobiPocket. However, you may be better off converting the table to one or more 525x640 JPEG images and in-lining the images instead. These won't work well on a small (PDA) screen, but they will on a desktop or any EInk reader.
