HBS: Don’t go it alone!

At HBS Working Knowledge you can read why the key to decision-making success is for the leader to avoid engaging alone in the processes that lead up to the final verdict (originally from "The Perils of Being the Best and the Brightest," Harvard Management Communication Letter, Vol. 1, No. 2, Spring 2004).

I find this a very interesting article, because not only once have I met people who consider themselves leaders, and yet fail to listen to or take advise from their subordinates. Obviously, they could do better if they were to collaborate with team members to achieve problem-solving gains.
