Ahh, you never drove a '50s-'60s era British sports car, then. The electrical systems never worked in the rain!

I dont see why you would. Electronics and rechargeable batteries have problems working in the cold. And for the Record Canada Is not housed in igloos and what not. At least not in the summer, They tend to melt on us.

Ever saw Rick Mercer's, talking to Americans?

From Wikipedia :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talking_to_Americans

Quote:
congratulating the Canadian government on building a dome over its "national igloo" (apparently a downsized version of the United States Capitol made out of ice) to protect it from global warming (one of the interview subjects so fooled was former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, whom Mercer later stated had asked off-camera if this was a "controversial igloo").
Do a small search, you can see it on Google Video, for a good laugh (Even if you aren't Canadian )

When I first clicked on this thread I saw Canadians talking about it being -11 or -17C and thought, "Wow, that's a bit cold for July isn't it?" :P

Yes, of course, when we're not using the dog sled or riding our pet polar bears. You wouldn't understand, Ted, I'm sure; it's a totally different experience than what you get when you ride your kangaroo out to feed the koala bears.

Charleski, right now on the Canadian prairies they've got temperatures in the 40's (Centigrade!)- think over 100F. The igloos are a distant memory...

It's when they drip on my Kobo, that's what I have a real problem with. But then someone suggested putting the Kobo in a ziploc bag for waterproofing, might have to try that.

Thanks for the clarification on the matter of Bruce, Bruce. Good to know.
