I agree the Kaylea Cross might make it worthwhile but I own 3 of the 10 and do not particularly like 2 of the other authors so that brings me to 5 books for .99...but of those, 3 are either free now or have been (which means likely will be again).

The siren song of a bargain is calling me - but I think I can resist!

Besides, if I buy it for the Kaylea Cross, I'd have to go buy the rest of the series... so there goes any savings.

Are they pulling them like that? I had thought they just blocked the buy link/product page. If they are doing that, I think they need to refund everyone who bought expecting the cloud to deliver.

Have they actually pulled them from people's devices? I know they have blocked them from sale, but I hadn't heard they actually removed anything from anyone's library.

Yes they are. If you try to download it takes you to page can't be found and some are just missing.

I don't know about devices I don't own a Kobo but some on other places have said they have missing books are wants them back or a refund. I don't buy erotica all too often but I do have few missing from my library.

I can't find any missing yet from my Kindle library but I don't even know how to begin searching. Luckily most of the stuff tagged erotica was not self-published

OK, this is weird, _Static_ by L.A. Witt is gone, but shows up in my Kindle 4 PC as "Unavailable" and can be downloaded? And it's not self-pubbed; it's Amber Quill

Oh no not Kindle hon Kobo is the one who pulled the titles. Amazon has been removing authors but they as I know have been doing it discreetly. Most of the books removed by Amazon were smut I don't care if some of those authors. Just read an author's blog who call it erotica but I call it smut or Porn. There is a huge difference between erotica and smut.

If a book is unavailable I would contact Support. Amazon doesn't remove books from your Archive and if they do they issue a refund.

Anybody know about readcheaply.com? No one is as good as Blossom but this popped up and I wondered about it. I do not want to get spammed to death.

Blossom, I particularly appreciate that you annotate where the freebies are from, i.e. former Harlequin author, indie, inspiration, paranormal timetravel zombies ...

I too have as many freebies as I will ever have time to read, and have about stopped even bothering to one-click the indies. That said I am a sucker for backlist vintage romances.

I'm just going to enter into Calibre with the Kaylea Cross costing $0.99, I'll consider the remaining 5 or so I don't already have as freebies.

Thanks sometimes I can find the info easy and sometimes I have to dig for it. I don't think I've done zombies yet...not my thing....but who knows.

Carly Phillips has gone Indie!

She has two more of her Serendipity series to release next year but in November her first Indie book will be coming out!

She has some self published backlist out but this will be a all new series! If you haven't read her I would put her with Jane Graves or Susan Anderson. Most of her books are published by Harlequin so this is a awesome move on her part!

I'm not a fan of dogs either but I do adore dogs in books just not dogs who bark outside for hours. I think if Jill wrote it I would love it. Who doesn't love a hunky animal lover?

I just finished minutes ago my book so I'm off to sleep for a few hours. I finally know what happened to Rebecca. Maybe time to read another series like something paranormal.
