Question Crosscompilation for Kindle

Hi people. I was searching for some interesting apps, when I found this thread: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=244624
As I understand we can easily run Linux programmes on our kindle devices. I have some experience of cross compiling Linux tools for my android. So why not to try build another programmes for kindle? So, the question is, where can I find a kindle processor specifications?
Sorry for my English.

There is a bunch of interesting stuff here: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=240616

Arch Linux on Paperwhite2 -- chroot into a regular ARM distro and do stuff. Does require a lot of infrastructure, the other way is better for redistributable hacks.

And there's a (slightly off-target in the case of the K3, cf. comments in the build script) crosstool-ng config in the x-tc archive of my snapshots, which should answer your question (OTOH, for the K3: armv6j, 1136jf-s, glibc 2.5, Linux 2.6.21 [do double-check those]).

As I understand:

TARGET_MARCH="armv6j"
TARGET_MTUNE=" arm1136jf-j "
TARGET_MFPU="vpf"
TARGET_MFLOAT="hardfp"

Kindles are not hardfp, but softfp (by default).
