Question Device for both ePub and Mobipocket?

I currently have a Cybook and enjoy using it. However, with the move to ePub format, I'm wondering if there's a device that can read both. While it is possible that there's software that could convert Mobipocket ebooks to ePub, I have so many Mobipocket ebooks that I don't want to have to convert them all.

It is impossible if both file types have DRM, because Mobipocket doesn't allow any competing formats. If you have removed DRM, no problem. By the way, Calibre can mass convert books.

if you have a lot of MOBI ebooks, one approach would be to keep the Cybook and the MOBIs, strip the DRM from Adobe ePub and format shift from ePub to MOBI using Calibre. Doing this looses some formatting, but Calibre's ePub to MOBI is very good at keeping as much ePub flavor as possible in MOBI format.

If you want to switch to ePub as your primary format, then, as HansTWN says, only DRM-free MOBI will be allowed on the device and mass conversion by Calibre to ePub may be a viable alternative. In any case, the PocketBooks and the Hanlins (BeBook, EZ Reader, ...) support DRMed ePub and DRM-free MOBI.

How do you strip the DRM from Abobe ePub?

By the way, I've stripped the DRM from my MOBI.

See Adobe ADEPT DRM for EPUB circumvented. This is easier to use than mobidedrm.py, because even though ineptepub.pyw also requires Python it does not need the command line.
