Updating to new version
Hello everone. I have just discovered this brilliant software. I just have one question. Can one update to the new releases over the old one? There seems to be a new release every couple of days and i am removing old version and loading new version all the time.
Thanks |

Yes - you can install an new version directly over the old version.
Calibre releases are normally weekly (on a Friday) with whatever changes/fixes surfaced during the week. Many people do not bother to take all the releases, but merely read the release notes until they see a change that interests them. |

Glance at the Download Page notes: If there are any Special instructions or Limitations, they show there. So Far (IIRC): Windows version has only had 1 required special upgrade procedure, and THAT was years ago. MAC has OS version limitations Liniux has its requirements |
