Free (nook/Kindle) The Assassin and the Pirate Lord [High Fantasy Adventure]

The Assassin and the Pirate Lord by Sarah J. Maas is the 1st of four novellas which tie into her upcoming high fantasy adventure novel Throne of Glass, which is slated for release this summer.

This is presumably free courtesy of publisher Bloomsbury, who've presumably made an entirely different novella from the series free in the Sony store, if that's not the doing of Sony's price-updating bobble-birds which act in mysterious and unfathomable ways.

Currently free @ B&N. Enjoy while it lasts.

Description
On a remote island in a tropical sea, Celaena Sardothien, feared assassin, has come for retribution. She's been sent by the Assassin's Guild to collect on a debt they are owed by the Lord of the Pirates. But when Celaena learns that the agreed payment is not in money, but in slaves, her mission suddenly changes - and she will risk everything to right the wrong she's been sent to bring about.

They're all 99 cents. That, presumably, is the regular price, which B&N also lists for the non-free novellas.

I just read this one last week!
It was very entertaining, I'm definitely getting the novel once it comes out in August!

Now also free @ Kobo (not available to Canadians).

ETA: Oops, it's the other one which is actually free @ Kobo, which makes it more interesting as to which is the official one if just the 1st are free at B&N and Amazon and Sony and Kobo have the 2nd.
