Hi. I'm new to this board and to isilo. Just trying to figure this out...I guess we're supposed to leave a message before trying to download links. So I guess this is my message. Hi everyone.

I've seen talk of a scripting tutorial for HandStory...where can I find that? The HandStory manual isn't all that useful; I've done a bare minimum of HTML before, and would like to script some of my own clips...

Nevermind...found a bit about it, WAY over my head, at least with the amount of time I'm able to put in.

I AM TRYING TO FIND A GOOD E BOOK READER. I TRIED THE SONY--BUT WITHOUT BACKLIGHTING I FOUND READING EXTREMELY TIRESOME. IS THERE A READER OUT THERE THAT HAS THIS CAPABILITY?

Welcome to MobileRead, SCAMDS7!

(I might want to just mention, for your consideration, that all caps is generally taken as yelling in the on-line world. )

There are a number of options that have a backlight, but none of them are going to be an e-ink display -- e-ink is opaque, so you can't backlight it. A lot of folks seem to make due with some variation of clip on light.

I'd suggest you look at the which one should I buy subforum to get some ideas, but the ebookwise 1150 is a good one to start looking at.

I have seen some info on the DT375--but I cant seem to get a straight answer on whether the screen background when reading an eBook is white or grey. Do you have an idea?
Thanks
