3G Connectivity
Hi,
Is there anyway to see the current 3g network that the Kindle is connected to? Thanks |

On the settings screen, do Alt Y, Alt Q and then Alt Q in that order.

Thanks,
I have done this and the network I am connected to is not working on my kindle but is working on my other 3g modem. Any ideas why? |

I haven't tried the key combinations posted above but "311" from the Settings menu will scan for 3G networks and show which is currently connected.
My K3G had a 3G connectivity problem last week, solved by switching to a different network via the above 311 screen. EDIT - I re-read Tiersten's post above and realized the key combination "Alt-Y, Alt-Q, Alt-Q" is "611" and pulls up the wireless info page. "311" is "Alt-E, Alt-Q, Alt-Q" and will disconnect and allow connection to other available networks. Last edited by cjottawa; 12-03-2010 at 09:34 PM. |
