Hello there! I have an issue starting the whole thing up.
This is what i bump into trying to launch the KCC with KindleGen unzipped in the same directory (have a Windows XP SP3 on board). Spoiler:
Could You please help me out? Thanks in advance and cheers. |

Hmm that is intesting. KindleGen version detection crash entire app.
You are sure you are not using some ancient version of KindleGen? I not tested KCC on so ancient OS like XP but it should work correctly. |

Nope, I've the latest one (2.9). Interestingly enough, both programs work just fine on their own. That is, Kindlegen does convert to .mobi whilst KCC doesn't oppose to creating .epub. It is the spirit of colaboration that the pair lacks.

The result is as follows: Kindlegen flashes a dark dialogue window for a split second and switches off.

Start it from command line. Not from explorer.

You know how to use command line? You are sure that you are in KCC directory with it? Try kindlegen and kindlegen.exe commands.
If both not work paste output of: dir. |
