remove saved searches ?
is there an option to remove unwanted entries from the previously saved list of named searches. I see only an add button, not a delete; & clear search history does not do it ?

Open the Tag Browser, the tag button at the bottom right in calibre, (or just drag open the left yellow line) and click "Manage authors, tags, etc" and select "Manage Saved Searches" to open up a Saved Search Editor. You can delete unwanted saved searches there.

thanks - not very intuitive, as I keep the tag browser minimised ( never use it) , but works.
I expected to find a "remove search " button close to the "add search " button ! |

There used to be one, unfortunately it was sacrificed for users who run calibre on tiny screens.

The new release (0.7.58) has a menu under the create saved search button that gives direct access to create, delete, and manage saved searches. Click and hold on the button to get the menu.
