Footnotes and Endnotes

I've been trying this out your extension on various test files, and one thing I like is that it handles basic footnotes or endnotes (though not both at the same time of course) with ease, and in the resulting file, navigating between text and footnotes goes well. But one thing I'm not happy with is that each footnote goes in its own separate html. This is not a big deal for something like a short article, but for a book with quite a few footnotes in it, it seems it would work better to have all of the notes in the same file. There are ways to do this after the fact, but it would be nice if notes in the same file could be at least an option in a future release. Just a suggestion.

You're not the first
I will consider to add all footnotes in a single file. Maybe I can add a checkbox in the preferences to choose the single file or multiple file for the footnotes.

I am not totally satisfied about the return icon at the end. I see that many publishers set the note number as the return link. But I think that when I read a long footnote, I wish to have a return link at the end to avoid to come back at the beginning of the footnote.
What is your opinion?

So far I haven't run into the long note problem, even though quite a few of the books I read have lots of chapters and plenty of notes. I wouldn't alter the standard of having the text and note link through the note number, but there also would be no harm in adding an option to place an additional (not replacement) link at the end of a note.
