Hi,
On internet I'm found 2 pictures appropriate for logo for E-book. Adjusted I'm this for PB 902.

Hey! nice logos!!! I was trying to convert the photos that are pre-loaded on the 902 but there is an error about compatibility.

Very nice, better that the 1st reader!!!

Ok guys and gals, i'm seriously confused here. I already posted that on the german forum but there was no reply.

I downloaded some of the logos you posted here, and i noticed that they use 32 colors most of the time. Do they really display with your PB's??? I dont think so!
And what about the resolution? 865x1200? I think the screen is 825x1200 isnt it?
To my perception, the PB's can only display 4 shades of Gray (2 Bit) when switched of, and maybe 16 colors (4 Bit) or even 256 (8 Bit) when in Photo mode. To test it, i did two things:

1.) Created an 8 bit Image with a black to white crossover (logo_256_colors)
2.) resampled one of the 32 Colors-logos to rastered 4 colors.

Please, please, do me a favour and copy these 3 images to your 90x (I've got a 903) both to your photo and your /system/logo dirctory and tell me which one looks better as a logo/in photo mode. I think it is the 4 color one (except it does not display in Photo mode ;-)

Or maybe i'm doing something completely wrong. Anyway, here come the pics...

nope, its the same. I don't say that the picture is not displayed. I just say that its effectively 2 bits (4 Colors) only. You can easily see it at the leafs.

If you want to convince me, upload an image that displays more than 4 bars of different shades of grey if used as a logo. Then you are my hero

Must agree to wongdong, when shutdown, it only shows four shades of grey.
Tried to use some own pictures as Logos by using Irfanview and a Guide from Ulli from the German Forum, bit the Result was less thes satisfactory (only 2 Bit).

Also tried to add my name and adress to the book3 logo from marty63 (as a shutdown logo in case I lose the reader), but received a format error,maybe he can publish which picture program he uses and the settings for adapting photos.

Ok,this part now works after resampling the colour shades.
