I'd like to specifically thank the individual who started this list, Sporadic, for all the effort he put into it. It saddens me that he has decided to leave the ModileRead community. His hard work is still appreciated.

I'd also like to offer a special thanks to Xia and Koland. The majority of books found on this list are due to their efforts, and I for one look forward to any new books that they let us know about in the future.

I have recreated Sporadic's list. I'm willing to go through the list once a week and add new items and remove old items. I may do it more often (or less often) as the mood suits me.

I don't have the contacts that Xia and Koland seem to have and I would rely on posts placed in this thread as a source for new items to add. I am also in no way oppossed to one of them taking over this list if they would like to do it.

I'll be honest. I'm not too happy you copy and pasted my list from KindleBoards.

I don't care if you guys recreate it but please come up with your own format. Taking it outright is pretty f***** up especially when no credit to the original creators (me, Xia and Koland) is given.

No they haven't. It was entirely Sporadic's decision based on his disagreement with the guidelines.

I updated the FREE section with a new format. I'll revise the CHEAP section later.

I've also removed Tumor because only the first chapter was free and the other chapters costs a $1 each. This wasn't exactly a free book; although I found it worth the $7 as I really enjoyed the book. Nevertheless I'd like to keep this limited to just free and under $1 books.

They way you've chosen to reorganize the list is already making it much easier to absorb. Great job!
