Are enterprises ready for e-readers?

A computer world article

http://www.computerworld.com/action/...=NLT_PM&nlid=8

More than a decade after the first clunky electronic books appeared, a new push is under way to get readers to curl up with digital versions of their favorite best-sellers. But despite backing from heavyweights such as Sony Corp., Amazon.com Inc. and a handful of publishers, the idea has yet to catch fire with consumers.

Near the end of the article, the writer states that Adobe "is introducing an e-book software suite with enhanced graphics." Anyone know anything about this? I still think that PDF as is is a terrible format for readers.

They are likely talking about Digital Editions. It reads PDF and ePUB.

Thanks, if that's the case. Digital Editions doesn't work on eInk so that means I won't be reading any DRMed PDFs. I have less than a dozen PDFs and if I really want the source material I'll repurchase it in a more reader friendly format.
