Inner Light in mini kobo !!
some kind of change in the kobo is possible mini so you can have inner light ????

Not really. Screen lighting depends upon a special layer that distributes the light uniformly across the screen. (The same is true for front and back lights.) The best that you can do with the mini is to add an external light.

Front light would be welcome addition for new Kobo Mini that might make it a big seller. Unfortunately Kobo Mini didn't sell enough to be profitable so this is unlikely to happen.

thanks man !! but from what little I could understand of electronic, would go through expensive and flee the purpose of lightweight that I value in kobo !! a hug from Brazil

Back light would not work. There's no way for the light to shine through the eInk screen. What you want is a front light.

I have my suspicions that it might be mostly because the Aura is barely bigger than the Mini, but has the advantage of a six inch display. Five inch readers have become more of a niche market now that everyone has a smartphone.
