calibre changes computer display settings

I am on Windows 7 and have used Calibre successfully for quite a while. Suddenly (perhaps after some windows updates) when I ask it to change book formats it changes the entire display settings on my computer to a much larger size and unusable. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Nope. Can't believe it is Calibre doing this.
Calibre will remember Window sizes and placement between sessions.
This does NOT affect the OS

@kamazzy - I don't understand your - "when I ask it to change book formats" - do you mean conversion?

Are you able to reset the display settings, and if so how?

Could you post 'before calibre', 'after calibre' and 'after display settings reset' screen shots

More specifically, what happens is that when I add a book to be converted and when I ask it to convert the book, the display on the computer changes from 1280X70 to 800X600. In other words, it becomes huge and the only way to change it is to go into display settings and set it back again to 1280X70. So I have to do this operation twice in order to convert a book. I have already deleted the program and then downloaded a new version and the same thing is happening. Thanks for any thoughts you might have.
