Xephyr Xchat kindle touch
Here's the stuff I dragged out of debian
x11vnc xchat Xephyr blackbox You can run it outside debian via Xephyr - will patch the title RSN. The files expect you have some knowledge of what you are doing - no installers or friendly howtos here... If I missed a file let me know. You would want matchbox-keyboard too I imagine... may tidy this all up. EDIT: OKAY AFTER LIKE A BAZZILION YEARS>>> I found the error that stops Xephyr running... LibXfonts.so.1 needs to be the one I have attached. : ) YAY! Last edited by twobob; 04-02-2013 at 09:58 AM. Reason: LIBXFONTS DAMMIT!! |

Sigh... Stupid thing. I'll throw out the EXACT one I use FROM THE DEVICE. perhaps that will help. I also have bundled the other file (pictured) And here is the exact command I use to start with ZERO errors /mnt/us/Xephyr-5 :1 -title "L:A_N:application_ID:xephyr_O:R_PC:N" -screen 800x600 -cc 4 -dpi 135 -nolisten tcp -fp "/mnt/us/usr/share/fonts/X11/75dpi" -fn "lucidasans-bolditalic-8" Both these files expect to live on /mnt/us in this case *crosses fingers* Last edited by twobob; 08-15-2013 at 01:35 PM. |

well.. that reads like you dont have a /mnt/us/usr/share/fonts/X11/75dpi folder...
Do you? |

Everything after this point is merely discussing that. its not something stupid like line endings is it? The old way I used to export stuff off of the touch had a nasty habit of making dos line-ending... I'll rip out that folder now using my new method.. That work? expects to live as pictured... (obviously not as a zip... That's the picture of the zip I made ON THE DEVICE) unzip it into /mnt/us/usr/share/fonts Last edited by twobob; 08-15-2013 at 01:36 PM. |

I dunno, but I downloaded it on debian, extracted on debian and transferred via debian. No chance of me messing up.
